About Us

Mission Statement

Our OMS Mission is to make an impact on the next generation by influencing them to seek God for their purpose and inspiring them to pursue it with all their heart!

We provide free college prep and career counseling to high school and undergraduate students. We award scholarships to qualified applicants. We inspire students with our own stories, creative gifts, and our willingness to come alongside them on their academic journey.

Our Vision

Our OMS Vision is to keep the legacy of Ollie Mae Smith alive. Ollie’s favorite scripture was Psalm 121. We want God to be a keeper of the next generation and lead and guide them on their path and in their purpose! We believe one of the most pivotal times in the life for our youth is transitioning from high school to seeking and searching out what they want to do with the rest of their lives. We are here to support in the areas of college prep and career counseling free of cost. We hope that this would not only give them insight but relieve pressures and fears of what’s next.

The OMS Foundation is designed to honor and keep the legacy alive of the late and great Ollie Mae Smith. Our Mother, Grandmother, and simply put, our love. She was amazing at all she did and everyone that came in contact with her found themselves a honest friend and forever home. You could always come by and you would always be met with love.
